Olivia Resnick, LICSW

EMDR Certified, Individuals, Adults

My approach is warm, straightforward, and relational. I show up as a real person in the room — I laugh with my clients, offer honest reflections, and gently challenge them to engage fully in the work. My clients often say they feel safe and at ease with me, and that my nonjudgmental style helps them open up and make meaningful progress. I agree — therapy is an active relationship that takes both commitment and effort, which is why finding the right fit truly matters.

I’m a certified EMDR therapist with extensive training and experience in treating trauma — but I also work effectively with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions, and more. While I have a special interest in complex trauma and perinatal mental health, I support adults across a wide range of challenges. My approach is tailored, drawing from EMDR, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depending on your needs.

I do this work because I believe you not only deserve a life worth living — you can actually attain it. That doesn’t mean life will be perfect, but it can be meaningful, connected, and even joyful.
